Arthur D. Potts, Jr., 84 died on January 3, 2022.  Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Arthur D. and Katherine Stellfox Potts, he lived his early life in Springfield, PA and most of his adult life at his current home in Milmont Park.

Arthur was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1956.  Art started his career in facilities at Swarthmore College and moved to commercial plating and ultimately spent his career owning and operator his own business, ADP Compressor Services.  He also served (in his early life) as a volunteer firefighter for the Swarthmore Fire company for many years.

Art loved his family first and foremost.  He also loved working on his home and landscaping and manicuring his lawn.  He was an avid NFL Football fan and NASCAR racing enthusiast where he attended many races throughout the east coast.  He also loved cars and especially his F-150 pickup trucks which he spent countless hours washing and detailing.

Art is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce E. Parker Potts, his children; Sharon Dargay (John), Donald A. Potts (Mindy Welsh), Lynne DeLuca (Berardo) and Eileen Harrison, his grandchildren; Melissa Meindle (Michael), Jenifer Potts (Chris Sherwin), Allison Potts (Lauren Paradis), Donald A. Potts, Jr., Lauren Deluca (David Pron), Matthew Deluca, Leighann Harrison (Wyllis Tompson, Mark Harrison and Jake Welsh, his great-granddaughters Madison Harding and Arianna, his sister; Katherine Bohner and his daughter-in-law Ruth Waldie Potts.

Funeral service and burial were held privately.
