Arthur J. Modesti, Esq., 65, of Woodlyn died September 25, 2018 at his home. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Harry and Regina Merrow Modesti.

Arthur was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1971, Penn State University, class of 1975 and Widener Law School, class of 1982. He was employed as a Public Defender for Delaware County. Arthur was a member of the Delaware County Bar Association and has practiced law for 36 years.

Arthur was predeceased by his brother, John Modesti.

He was the father of Richard N. Modesti (Eva); grandfather to Gwenyth and Emmett; brother to April Modesti and Harry Modesti, Jr. (Theresa); also, survived by his former wife, Maryann Q. Modesti.
