Arthur S. Krauss, Jr., 76 a lifelong resident of Ridley Township died on July 24, 2025 at his home.  Born Chester, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (nee Hansen) Krauss.
Arthur was a proud veteran of the US Army and had been employed as a Boiler Mechanic at Crozer-Chester Medical Center for over 40 years.    He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors and watching old western movies.  The most important pieces of Arthur's life were he Catholic faith, his devotion to the Blessed Mother and his loving family.
He was the loving husband of the late Julia R. Kraus (nee McCullough), father of Gretchen Gillespie (Mark), Mary Piffath (Brad), Arthur S. Krauss, III, Julie Bowders (Greg) and Eric Krauss (Christina), the brother of Margaret "Peggy" Weinstein (Stephen) and is also survived by 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson and  many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 990 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore where relatives and friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park.
