Arthur F. "Artie" Raimo, Jr., 63 of Woodlyn died on February 26, 2013 peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief illness at Crozer Chester Medical Center.

Born in Chester, he was a lifelong resident of Woodlyn.

Artie was a Supervisor for Delaware County Parks for over 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Viet Nam War and was a graduate of Ridley High School, Class of 1967.

Artie was son of the late Arthur F. and Anna R. Roberts Raimo and brother of the late Jacqueline Illich, who died in 1976 and the late Michael Raimo, who died in 2011.

Survivors: his sisters Elizabeth Martiello (late John), Pat Bliss (Weldon), Diane Plank and Debbie Greto (Bruce Pysher); his sister in law Michele); also many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:30AM Monday, March 4, 2013 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 1000 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore, PA 19081 where friends may call after 10:00AM.

Burial Private.
