Obituary
Arleen F. Oakley, 77 a longtime resident of Ridley Park died February 23, 2017 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was daughter of the late William A. and Florence Zimmerman McVeigh.
She was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, class of 1957 and was a member and secretary of the Ridley Park Seniors. Arleen enjoyed crocheting, crafting and cardmaking as well as playing cards.
Arleen is survived by her husband Charles T. Oakley, Sr., children Charles T., Jr. (Lisa), William J. (Debbie), Arleen F. and John D. Oakley, brothers William E. (Jean) and Dennis F. (Karen) McVeigh and her grandchildren Charles T. III and Candice M. Oakley and Danielle L. Egan.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Thursday at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM.
