1925-2020

Antoinette A. DeFrancesco Monzo, 94, of Ridley Park died January 22, 2020 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna D'Allesandro DeFrancesco and resided in Upper Darby before moving to her late residence nine years ago.

Antoinette was employed by A&P food Stores at 5th & Pine as a Deli Manager until she retired in 1987. She was a member of St. Philomena R.C. Church and loved to cook, bake and read, but most important was her devoted family.

Antoinette was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Monzo, who died in 1969; and her daughter, Deborah A. O'Keefe.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne M. Singletary (Dr. William) and Annette M. Cartwright; her grandchildren, John Paul Singletary, Kimberly O'Keefe Calhoun (Andrew) and Kevin Cartwright; her great grandchildren, Christopher and Emma Calhoun; and her siblings, Benjamin DeFrancesco, Jr. (Rita) and Gloria Donzanti.

Memorial Mass: 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at St. Philomena R.C. Church, 41 East Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne, PA 19050, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM.
