Dr. Anthony F.C. Wallace Ph.D., born on tax day in 1923, passed away quietly on October 5, 2015. Once called the "Quiet Anthropologist" in a Philadelphia Inquirer article about him. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania upon graduating from there with a Ph.D. in Anthropology. After retiring, he continued to write which was his greatest passion. Often he wrote about the Native American Indians and was a good friend to the Tuscarora. They were the subject of his last published book, Tuscarora A History in 2012. He leaves behind a loving family and friends. A private funeral is planned.
