Anthony P. "Tony" Latissa, 67 of Wallingford, died September 19, 2012 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, Tony was son of the late Pasquale and Lois Leibfried Latissa and lived in Media before moving to his late residence 10 years ago.

He was a Controller for Davis Oil Company. Tony was a graduate of Bonner High School for Boys, Class of 1963 and also West Chester University where he received an Associate Degree in Business. Tony was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and received the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device Sharpshooter.

He was a member of The Sports Club and played piano and sang at the Residence at Glen Riddle and the

Glen Mills Senior Residence, but most important to him was the time he spent with his family.

Survivors: his wife of 41 years, JoAnn Moffa Latissa; his children Nicole Carpenter (John), Michelle Last(Joshua) and Jennifer Latissa; his sisters Harriett Honer and Lois Colleluori and also nieces and nephews.


Funeral Service 11:00AM Monday, September 24, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
