Obituary

Anthony R. "Bobby" Travis, 83, of Ridley Park, died December 4, 2017 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Louis and Victoria Mastrobuoni Travis and moved to his late residence in 1958.


Bobby was a graduate of John Bartram High School and was employed by US Air as a Flight Service Agent until he retired in 1991. He was a member of the Church of St. Madeline. Bobby enjoyed cards and golf and loved the Phillies. He enjoyed having lunch every month with his high school friends, but most important was his family, especially time with his grandchildren.


He was predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Dolores R. Saverase Travis, who died May 22, 2001; and his siblings, Rita Porto, Louis Travis, Jeanette Armideo and Alice DeLucas.


Bobby was the father of Louis Travis (Annette), Linda Simon (Lee) and Victoria Rodden (Johnny); father-in-law of Barbara Travis; grandfather of Nicole (Rob), Annie, Christine and Justin; brother of Estelle Travis; and longtime Companion of Norma Raffa


Visitation: 9:30-11:15 AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078


Funeral Mass: 12:00 Noon Saturday at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park.


Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
