Anne M. Baker Todd, 88 of Brookhaven, died October 7, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Mary Guy Baker, and was a lifelong resident of Aston.
Mrs. Todd was a graduate of St. Francis deSales Elementary School, Class of 1939, Notre Dame High School, Class of 1943, Chester Hospital School of Nursing , Class of 1946 and also West Chester State Teachers College with a BS Degree in Education. She also attended the University of Pennsylvania and was a member of the Nurse Cadet Corps.
She was School Nurse at the Rose Tree Media School District for 30 years, retiring in 1986 and previously worked for Community Nursing Service and Curtis Publishing Company.
Anne was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and the Ladies Guild, the Chester Hospital Alumni Association, the Parkside Seniors and was a former member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Seniors.
She enjoyed traveling, the Arts, playing bridge, pinochle and other board games.
Survivors; her daughter; Brenda A. Todd Gatchel, her sister Jeanne M. Blackburn, grandmother of Robert Gatchel and Mary Campbell, also survived by four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Saturday at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.
Visitation 9:00 to 9:45AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston.
Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the above church.
