Anna Smith Pitts, 89 of Ridley Park, died April 14, 2013 at Conner-Williams Nursing Home.
Born in South Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Ridley Park.
Anna was a lifelong member of the Church of St. Madeline and was an avid fan of the Phillies and Notre Dame football.
She was the wife of the late Thomas S. Pitts, who died in 1972, mother of the late Thomas F. Pitts, daughter of the late Francis and Emma Stephan Smith and was the last surviving of seven siblings.
Survivors; her children John Pitts of Lakewood, CA, Nancy McCallum (David); daughter in law Debbie; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park. Visitation from 9 to 10:15AM at the church.
Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
