Anna Olson Quinlan, 87, of Morton died March 21, 2016 at home. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Knut and Rebecca Alcorn Olson and resided in Southwest Philadelphia before moving to her late residence 53 years ago.
Anna was a graduate of John Bartram High School, class of 1946 and was formerly employed by Bradlees. She previously worked for the Ridley School District in the cafeteria at the Amosland School. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church Over 50 Club and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Roche Post #21. She loved traveling and gardening, especially in her rose bed. Anna was an avid Phillies Fan, but most important was her devotion and love for her children and her cherished grand and great grandchildren.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, James Quinlan, who died April 19, 2010 and her brothers, Kenneth and Thomas Olson.
Survivors: mother of James A. Quinlan (Patricia), Lynda A. Kimpel (Joseph), Michael J. Quinlan (Vicki) and Karyn J. Kelly (Michael); mommom of 12 grandchildren; sister of Kathryn McGuire; also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson
