Anna Franko Kupay, 99
Devoted to Family and Home

Anna Franko Kupay, 99 of Aston, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died January 6, 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Junedale, PA and lived in Beaver Meadows before moving to the West End of Chester in 1950. She resided in Milmont Park for 37 years before moving to Aston ten years ago.

Mrs. Kupay was the widow of Michael Kupay , her husband of 71 years who died in 2007, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Lazo Franko. She was also predeceased by a daughter Dorothy and a son Ronald (twins), who died in infancy, her sister Mary Yanick and brother Stephen Franko.

Mrs. Kupay was a long-time member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and most of all, being with her family.

Survivors: her daughter Irene Glessner (William) of Brookhaven; son Michael K. Kupay (Rebecca) of Placitas, NM; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 11:00AM Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3015 West Third St., Chester.

Visitation after 9:00AM, with Panahyda at 10:00AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
