Anna M. Kearney, 86 of Ridley Park died on May 2, 2023 at her home.  Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve McCallen Moyer, she had been a resident of Ridley Park since 1974.

Anna was a graduate of Little Flower High School.  She was an Administrator at Ross Manor Nursing Home in Ridley Park and then went on to become a Paraprofessional in the Ridley School District before her retirement.  Anna was a member of The Church of St. Madeline, the Ridley Park Athletic Club and the Interboro Business and Professional Women.  She enjoyed playing bingo, but most important was time spent with her loving family.

She was the loving wife of the late John M. P. Kearney who died on October 4, 2003 after 43 years of marriage, mother of Chris J. Kearney, Andrew J. Kearney (Tracy), Marie A. Hill, Nancy A. Kearney and the late Jon T. and Brian J. Kearney, sister of Louis Moyer and Frances Schoen, she was also predeceased by six siblings. She is the grandmother of Callie (Andrew Bryant), Brian Hill (Rachel), Kristin Knorr (CJ), Rob Kearney (Karley Cohen), Alexandra Coombe, Kaitie Kearney and Brayden Kearney, great-grandmother of Everett and George Bryant, Logan and Riley Knorr, and Baby Boy Hill on the way, mother-in-law of Lynn Loveland, Anna is also survived by a special friend Melissa who provided a lot of love and companionship and her beloved furry companion "Copper John".

The Kearney Family would like to acknowledge Comfort Keepers in Springfield, especially Marla and Pauline for providing Anna joy and companionship for the last month and a half.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Monday, May 8, 2023 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM.  Burial private.
