Anna D'Ambrosio, 78 of Woodlyn died on April 9, 2025.  Born in Cappelle, Italy, the daughter of the late Antonio and Palmina Galassi, her family immigrated to the United States in 1960 settling in Woodlyn.

Anna was a graduate of Our Lady of Peace School and Notre Dame de Lourdes High School.  Before her retirement, she was employed as a billing clerk at Crozer-Chester Medical Center for over 25 years and had previously worked for Marino's Catering and was a former cook at Marino's Restaurant.  Anna was proud of her Catholic Faith and had devotions to the Blessed Mother and Padre Pio.  Anna was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Milmont Park where she was an Extraordinary Minster, daily communicant and always volunteering cooking at the Christmas Bazaar.  She was also a member of the Abruzzi Club.  Anna loved animals, especially her dogs and enjoyed painting in oils and painting portraits, but most important was her family, especially her cherished grand and great-grandchildren.

She was the former wife of the late Filippo Puzzangara and the wife of the late Antonino D'Ambrosio, mother of Franceso Puzzangara (Gina), Antonio Puzzangara (Kimberly) and Grace Bookmiller (Marc), sister of the late Carolina Clarke, aunt of Gabriella Clarke Wegman (Todd), Michael Clarke (Chrissy) and Steven Clarke (Tami), she is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation 6:30 to 8:30 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park and 9:15 to 10:15 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where a Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM.  Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
