Obituary

Ann Abramchuk Platt, 96, of Folsom, died October 21, 2018 at Harlee Manor Nursing Home. Born in Essington and reared in Eddystone, she was the daughter of the late John and Theodora Yuschak Abramchuk and moved to her late residence in 1952.

Ann was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1940, where she was a cheerleader, on the Honor Society and voted the Most Athletic Girl. Ann was employed by Widener University, formerly PMC, as a Library Assistant. She was a member of Christ Church Ridley Park and formerly a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Eddystone. Ann enjoyed working with church activities, cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, James Platt, who died February 1979; and her siblings, John Abramchuk and Helen Reed.

Survivors: mother of James John Platt and William "Dennis" Platt; grandmother of Matthew Platt (Sarah); and great grandmother of Vanjer, Orion and Preston Platt.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Monday, October 29, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.

Burial: Private
