Amanda "Jean" Ferguson 85 of Aston, died on August 21, 2021 at the home of her granddaughter Mandi.
Born in Chester, she lived in Boothwyn before moving to her late residence 55 years ago.
She was last employed by the Chichester School District as a Bus Aide and previously worked at the Franklin Mint as an assembler and also the Upland Tool Company.
Amanda attended Eddystone High School. She enjoyed her beach house in Lewes, DE and Bus trips to Lancaster and the Strasburg Railroad.
Amanda was a member of the Red Hat Society and most important to her was her family and her dogs.
She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Ferguson, who died in 2003; mother of the late Steven K. Ferguson, who died in 1983; daughter of the late Wilmer and Margaret McKnight Carr and sister of the late Blanche Carr, Anne Barlow, Catherine Lloyd and Clarence "John"Carr.
Amanda is survived by her children Thomas L. Ferguson, Jr. (Debbie), Linda J. Williams (Bill), Susan C. Bertrand, Rosalie W. Blake (Tom) and Ronald W. Ferguson (Rochelle); her siblings Sonny Carr, Midge Bull, Peggy Kennedy and Carol Vohrer; also 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service 10:30AM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM.
Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
