Alvera D. Jennings 94 of Aston, died on April 4, 2022 at her home.

Born in Linwood, she lived there until moving to Aston in 1954.

She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph and was an avid gardener but most important to her was her family.

Alvera was the loving wife of the late John A. Jennings, her husband of 44 years, who died in 1998; daughter of the late Antonio and Marianna Zarlenga Bridge and sister of the late Christine McCarthy and Blonda Sill.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn P. Jennings (David), John P. Jennings (Nancy) and Francis A. Jennings; grandchildren Brian (Carina), Lauren, Kirstyn and Allyson Dolcemore (James) and her great grandchildren Riley and Lilah; also nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call 8:45- 9:45 AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
