Alvera A. Guarente Crocetto, 91, lifelong resident of Woodlyn died February 14, 2017 at Taylor Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. and Pauline Mastrogiocomo Guarente.

Alvera was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1944 and was employed as a secretary for Cryer Insurance Agency for 20 years before retiring in 1993. She previously was employed by Western Union. Alvera was a member of Our lady of Peace R.C. Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics and puzzles. Most important, she kept family traditions together with cooking and baking.

Alvera was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Nicholas J. Crocetto, who died January 17, 2011; and her siblings, Theresa Belden, Rose Pulcinella, Joseph Guarente, Jr., Mary Pulcinella and Albert Guarente.

Survivors: mother of Anthony J. Crocetto (Julia) and Nicholas M. Crocetto (Toni); and grandmother of Nicholas and Moses

Funeral Liturgy: 10:30 AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 9:30 AM

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
