Aline Helen Shaw Titerence, 90
A Devoted and Loving Mother
Aline Helen Shaw Titerence, 90, of Eddystone, died February 20, 2012 at the Little Flower Manor Nursing home in Darby. Born in Cape Charles, VA she was the eldest daughter of Orris and Mae Bowden Shaw. Aline resided in Chester before moving to Eddystone over 70 years ago with her late husband, Walter James Titerence who died in 2009.
Aline loved school and her teachers in Chester Elementary and Chester High School. She was a homemaker devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with her many friends. She enjoyed reading, talk radio, cooking and played the piano by ear. Family gatherings during the holidays were her favorite times of the year. Friends and family will always remember Aline for her kindness, sweetness, generosity and loving nature, she will be deeply missed by all.
She was sister of the late Betty Osowski, Buddy, Carlton, Reggie and David Shaw, and half-sister of the late Vernon and Paul Benny.
Survivors: she was mother of Diane Mae Lafferty, Wayne Titerence, Linda Lee Berry and Christian Titerence, half-sister of Doris Shaw Ritz, also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston
Visitation: after 10 AM Monday the funeral home.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
