Obituary
Alice Marye Wilson, 93, of Granite Farms, died September 23, 2014, at her home. Born in Upland, daughter of the late William Waugh and Elsie May Goodley Wilson, she had lived in Chester before moving to her late residence in 1986.
Alice was employed by the Chester-Upland School District as a teacher for 37 years before retiring in 1980 and was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. She taught at the Franklin, Martin and Stetser Schools. Alice was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and previously St. Paul's P.E. Church. She was a member of the Philadelphia Miniature Camera Club, the New Jersey Audubon Society, Delta Delta Delta PSI Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania, the evening session of New Century Club of Chester and the Philadelphia Chapter of Women's University Club.
She is survived by her friends, Michael and Maryann Csanady.
Graveside Service: 10 AM Saturday at Chester Rural Cemetery, 900 Upland Ave, Chester, PA 19013.
