Alice M. Abbot Sieck, 89

Alice M. Abbot Sieck, of Ridley Park died November 25, 2010 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Darby she was daughter of the late Alexander and Alice McCormick Abbot.

Mrs. Sieck was a lifelong resident of Darby prior to moving to Ridley Park two years ago. She was a graduate of Darby High School class of 1939. She was a Nurses Aide at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital for 30 years retiring in 1991. Mrs. Sieck enjoyed reading but most important to her was her family.

Mrs. Sieck was wife of the late Joseph M. Sieck who died in 1981 and sister of the late Alexander Abbot.

Survivors: children, Marie S. Sieck of Ridley Park and Joseph M. Sieck, Jr. of Roanoke, VA., sister Virginia Munyan of Norwood, grandchildren Amber Moore and Glenn Sieck, great-grandchildren Anthony Moore, Dominic Moore and Isaac Sieck.

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Tuesday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park where friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery
