Alfred Hahn, Jr., 82, of Media died August 7, 2016 at Granite Farms Estates. Born in Jamaica, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred and Greta Dankert Hahn, and resided in Brookhaven before moving to his late residence in 1968.

Alfred was a 1956 graduate of Cornell University with a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering. He was employed by Texaco, now Chevron, as a Senior Analyst and previously worked for Sun Company. Alfred was a member of St. Paul's P.E. Church where he was a former vestryman, served as an usher and was a member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.

He was predeceased by his wives, Virginia E. Worrall Hahn, who died in 1995 and Harriett Kiehl Hahn, who died in 2005; and his daughter, Anne Louise Hahn, who died in 1964

Survivors: father of Edith Hahn (Bruce R. Whitney), Alfred Worrall Hahn (Karen) and Karl Lewis Hahn; also five grandchildren
