Alcidez "Al" "Cano" Gonzalez, 63, of Ridley Twp., died December 3, 2018 at his home. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Emiliano and Juanita Adames Gonzalez. His family settled in Philadelphia in August 1958 and Al has been a resident of Ridley Township since 1980.

Al was a graduate of Columbia High School, class of 1974, and was employed as an Engineer 3 for Comcast for 38 years. Al loved his daughter and their dog, Reese. Al was a wonderful father, a great son and brother. He enjoyed bowling with his daughter and loved to dance. A "Mr. Fixit," he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone especially to his daughter, who was his world. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved his job and his work family.

He was a loving and devoted father to Jessica Alicia Gonzalez; brother to Lydia Gonzalez, Angel "Pete" Gonzalez (Carmen) and Emiliano Gonzalez, Jr. (Nancy); also survived by his former wife, Alicia Vazquez Gonzalez.
