Alberta L. Sullivan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Alberta Sullivan (Formoso), originally from McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Bert was the surviving spouse of George Sullivan and is lovingly remembered by her surviving companion, Will Ford.

Bert’s family was the greatest joy of her life, and she took great pride in watching it grow. Each child, grandchild and great-grandchild held a special place in her heart, and the love she gave them will continue through every generation. Her memory will live on through her four children, 11 grandchildren: Renee Pfender and her husband, Joe, and their children Samantha and Joshua; Ron Nolan and his wife, Laurie, and their children Philip and Mariah; Rhonda Sullivan and her husband, Jim, and their children Katlyn, Tyler, Stone, Cole, and Rebekah; and Rosie Sallinger and her husband, Chad, and their children Sydney and Serj; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She found happiness in the simple things in life, especially crafting and caring for her plants. With creativity in her hands and a love for growing beautiful things, she brought warmth and beauty into the lives and homes of those around her.

May she rest peacefully and forever be surrounded by the love she gave so freely to others.

A Service and Life Celebration will be announced at a later date.
