Albert F. "Pete" Holefelder, 81, of Brookhaven died December 12, 2016 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late William A. and Sarah McCormick Holefelder and resided in Aston before moving to his late residence in 1959.

Pete was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1953 and served in the US Army. He was employed by State Farm Insurance as a Supervisor for 26 years before retiring in 1997 and previously worked for Reynolds Springs and Reynolds Metals. Pete was a member of Our Lady of Charity R.C. Church. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and loved to travel. Pete was an avid NY Yankees and Green Bay Packers Fan.

Pete was predeceased by his son, Richard L. Holefelder, who died Sept. 17, 2016 and his siblings, George W. Holefelder, Sr., Helen Zehner, Alice Dougherty and Ann Guzenski.

Pete was the husband of Margaret I. Hollar Holefelder, his wife of 55 years; father of Margaret D. Gualtieri (John) and Michael Holefelder (Judy); brother of William "Bud" Holefelder (Kirklyn); and grandfather of Jeffrey, Jenna, Miranda and Erin.

Visitation: 10:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM

Burial: Private at a later date
