Albert T. Butts "Cookie", 75 of Ridley Park, died March 22, 2011 at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Mount Carmel, he has lived at his late residence for 49 years.

Mr. Butts was a well known milk deliveryman in Ridley Park for Sealtest Dairies, was subsequently employed by United Parcel Services and retired from D.L. Mathews food brokers in New Jersey. He also delivered flowers for the former Gilbert's Flower Shop.

A graduate of Holy Cross Elementary School and Mt. Carmel High School, class of 1953 where he was a member of the Red Tornadoes Football team.
Mr. Butts was a member of the Church of St. Madeline, serving as an usher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a passionate fan of Notre Dame football, the Boston Red Sox, the Phillies and Eagles.
His greatest joys were his grandsons and whatever their activity, he was there, from Halloween parades, to sporting events, to recitals and plays.
He was proud of his children and did everything he could to provide a good life for them.

Mr. Butts was son of the late Thomas and Michaline Dulski Butts, and brother of the late Robert Butts, Frances Halkowicz, Leona Duffy and Florence Butts.

Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Joanne Andrulevich Butts, devoted children Christopher Butts (Dominique) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Susan Szilagyi of Logan Township, NJ, brother Thomas "Kelly" Butts, sisters Marie Condron, Lorraine White, Joan McDonnell, Jacqueline Templin, his much loved grandsons Cameron Butts and Tyler Szilagyi, also many loving nieces and nephews who had special relationships with their Uncle Cookie.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St., and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.

Visitation Sunday 4:00 to 6:00PM and Monday 8:30 to 9:15AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
