Adelene M. Del Vecchio Dougherty, 85
Of Ridley Park, died November 9, 2010 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Chester, daughter of the late Daniel "Drill" and Josephine Massaro Del Vecchio.
Mrs. Doughterty was a resident of Ridley Park for sixty one years and previously lived in Crum Lynne. She was a secretary for General Electric Corporation for twenty years retiring in 1982. She was a member of The Church of St. Madeline. She was an avid Phillies fan, she also loved Frank Sinatra music, cooking, Mummer's, and casinos. The most important thing to Mrs. Dougherty was being with her family.
She was wife of the late George A. Doughterty who died March 1, 1996.
Survivors: her children, George D. Dougherty (Eve), Wallingford, Joan E. Hughes (Larry), Estell Manor, NJ and Joseph F. Dougherty (Patricia), Holmes. Sister of Florence DiNicola, Woodlyn and Michael Drill, Aston.
Funeral Mass: 10 Am Monday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park
Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Sunday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, RIdley Park
Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
